This post is all about Aubrey! She goes by many different names. On any given day she can be Aubrey, Aubey, Aubey Lynns, the Aubs, Aubey Lou Lous, the list goes on…haha
Aubrey is an absolute joy in mine and Seans life. She is 12 years old and I have had her ever since she first opened her eyes. When I was thirteen, I wanted a chihuahua so bad and nothing else. My parents took me to different places to look at chihuahua puppies. We eventually cam across a breeder that we liked and I picked out a longhaired chihuahua. He was only two weeks so we couldn’t take him home yet and would have to wait a few weeks. A few days later, we received news that the chihuahua puppy I picked out didn’t make it 🙁 I was devastated and my parents were determined to fix the situation so the search continued. We came across another breeder that had two puppies left from a litter. There was Aubrey and her sister who was all brown. I picked Aubrey because she was significantly smaller than her sister and she had white markings on her head, chest, and feet. We wrapped her in a little blue blanket and took her home. I was so excited about my new little puppy I never wanted to stop holding her! I still think to this day that the breeder gave her to us too early because Aubrey’s eyes hadn’t even opened yet. She ended up growing just fine and I have had her ever since. I recently moved out of my parents house and Aubrey loves it at the new apartment. It’s more her size 😉
