Wedding Vendors in SA!

In this post I will be talking about all the vendors and plans we have in place for the wedding so far! There are tons of guides out there to help with wedding planning and believe me, I have taken advantage of them. So, without further delay, lets get into it!

First, THE DRESS. This is NOT the dress I chose, but this one was the second one I tried on. The dress I did get is an Alfred Angelo and this one is too. I was lucky because I went in with nothing specific in mind, I just wanted something simple. I think it’s really important to simplify as many things you can when it comes to a wedding and wedding planning. Believe it or not, the first dress I tried on was actually THE ONE. It was perfect and was everything I wanted! Much cuter than this one 😉

On to the VENDORS…

Here is the venue we chose. It’s called The Oaks at Boerne. The owners, Mike and Charlotte, are the sweetest couple and have been amazingly helpful through the whole planning process so far. Everyone who visits this venue is captured by its beauty and eloquence. I knew the minute I saw it that it would be the most perfect place for my wedding. It fit the vibe I was going for and I absolutely fell in love with every part of it.

For cake, we went with Cake Bueno! Rebecca is such a sweetheart and she only takes one bride a month so that she can really focus on each and every one to ensure that everything is perfect. The tasting she did for us was incredible! She brought 3 top tiers of the flavors we picked and they were the cutest thing! After Sean and I tried a sample of each, she let us take the rest home to eat later… and man was it delicious. This is a similar design to what kind of cake we are going to have. I absolutely love the way this one came out. As far as I’m concerned we couldn’t have picked a better cake baker.

I have nothing but great things to say about minted. We used them for our save the dates which were magnets and they came out beautifully and we will definitely be using them for our wedding invites! Their customer service is great and they have a quick response time which is very important… Not to mention their designs are incredible! The fact that you have the ability to match everything is SO AWESOME. I love it. Even their packaging is pretty! I highly recommend minted for any kind of invitations you may need done.

So one of Seans only requests was that there be BBQ at the wedding. I decided to be nice and grant him his wish 😉 haha but in all honesty, I didn’t mind what kind of food we had, as long as it’s good! We had heard really great things about Smoke in the Hills and reached out for a tasting. They were so welcoming and kind. They are a family-owned and operated catering business. They were willing to work with us and help us find the perfect combination for our big day. Working with helpful vendors makes such a HUGE difference when planning a wedding. My advice would be that if anyone is not willing to work with you or gives you attitude, skip over them!

Smoke in the Hills will be providing our apps during cocktail hour and the main dish for dinner. We are excited for this one!

For DJ, we are going with Toast Entertainment. They have also been really helpful and have worked with us to find the right package that we would need and they conveniently have an online portal where you can import your playlists. They have great reviews on the knot and are affordable! We looked at a few other DJs before this one, and they wanted outrageous amounts of money so I am really glad we found these guys.

So Limelight is going to be doing our photography and videography. Naturally, I am a little nervous because I can be a little picky when it comes to Photo/Video… Luckily, they agreed to give me any RAWs that I might want 🙂 and I will be able to see the progress on the video. Overall, they do great work. They too were extremely helpful and even made us a special package that covered everything I wanted! Again, vendors who won’t work with you are no good and don’t waste your time with them.

Oh! and I almost forgot, here is our wedding website which has been so easy and helpful to use www.breeandsean.com

All we have left is flowers and linens! If you have any recommendations please reach out! The search continues…
