As you guys already know, I am getting married in just a few short weeks! Ahhh! In preparation for this big important day, I have partnered up with Smile Brilliant to make sure that my smile is perfectly white for all the photos that will be hanging on my wall for the rest of my life!
I was so ecstatic to try Smile Brilliant because I have tried other whitening products so I was curious to see how it would compare. Also, anyone who knows me, knows that I am a big dental hygiene person. I ALWAYS floss and will sometimes brush my teeth more than twice a day. I’ve always been a big “teeth person” haha in other words, the teeth/smile are the first thing I notice about someone… and let me tell you, a nice smile goes a long way!
ANYWAY, I had tried Nite White before and it worked well, but wouldn’t last as long as I had hoped. They also don’t provide the custom fitted trays.
The first thing I noticed about Smile Brilliant’s teeth whitening kit was the packaging and instructions. I personally am a sucker for great packaging so I loved how cute and fun it was! It comes with 2 trays, one for the top row and one for the bottom as well as the clay to make your molds. The instructions are super easy to follow and making the molds only takes a few minutes. Once I sent in my molds, I got my trays really quickly!
As I began using the whitening gel with my trays, I started with a 45 min session and then went to 3 hours. After 3 hours of using the whitening I had some sensitivity, but nearly as much as I had with the other whitening product. If you experience some sensitivity, try doing shorter sessions. I would wear the trays with the whitening gel for about 3 hours each time and then wear them with the desensitizing gel for the recommended 20 minutes and that was it! Easy.
I have been using Smile Brilliant on a weekly basis now for 3 months and I am thrilled with the results! I can see a big difference. Not that my teeth were super yellow or anything to begin with, but there was that dingy, yellowish tint around the sides of my teeth that were starting to form which is no bueno! Once I saw that was gone after just a few sessions, I felt much more ready for my wedding day and all the fabulous pictures I’m going to take 😉
Some other things I really love/appreciate about Smile Brilliant is the fact that they are cruelty free and vegan, they make it really simple to order more gel when you need it and the process is simple and effective. Their customer service was also very impressive and that is always huge for me.
I will definitely be using Smile Brilliant long after the wedding 🙂
